Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular foot patrols of the warehouse interior and exterior perimeter to deter theft and ensure security protocols are maintained.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems, promptly responding to any suspicious activities or breaches.
- Control access points for employees, visitors, and vehicles, verifying identification and logging entry/exit records accurately.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing goods for discrepancies, damage, or unauthorized removal as part of loss prevention efforts.
- Maintain detailed daily security logs, incident reports, and other necessary documentation.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently and professionally.
- Assist in emergency response procedures, including evacuations, first aid incidents, and crisis management under supervision.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse staff and management to foster a secure and compliant work environment.
- Report all safety hazards, security breaches, and suspicious behaviors to the appropriate supervisor.
- Provide a visible and reassuring security presence to all personnel and visitors.
- Operate basic security equipment and systems after receiving appropriate training.
