Key Responsibilities
- Execute general packing duties for various goods and products according to established procedures and client specifications.
- Accurately sort, count, and verify incoming and outgoing shipments against packing lists and order forms.
- Load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, containers, and racks, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and potentially scanning devices, after proper training.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the warehouse, adhering strictly to company safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation, counting, and reporting discrepancies.
- Label and tag items correctly for identification, storage, and dispatch.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and meet operational targets.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to quality control and security.
Required Skills
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy items regularly (up to 25kg).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in packing and counting.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to read labels, count inventory, and understand instructions.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Reliability and punctuality, with a strong work ethic.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and occasional nights or weekends, as required by operational needs.
