Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to join our dynamic team in Ibadan. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, delivery, and evaluation of training programs across various departments within the bank. This role requires a strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training methodologies. You will be working collaboratively with various stakeholders to identify training needs, develop engaging learning materials, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our workforce by ensuring our employees have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of the bank. Key Responsibilities
- Conducting needs analysis to identify training gaps and opportunities.
- Designing, developing, and delivering engaging and effective training programs.
- Creating and maintaining training materials, including presentations, manuals, and online resources.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of training programs through various assessment methods.
- Managing the training budget and resources.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest training trends and methodologies.
- Collaborating with department heads and other stakeholders to identify training needs and align training programs with business objectives.
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive training calendar.
- Tracking and reporting on key training metrics.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in training and development.
- Strong instructional design skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with learning management systems (LMS).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Experience in the financial services industry (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Certification in instructional design or training.
- Experience working in a large organization.
