Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Financial Analyst with strong modeling skills to join our dynamic team in Ibadan. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial planning, analysis, and forecasting activities. This role demands a strong understanding of financial modeling techniques, data analysis, and financial reporting. You will be involved in the development and maintenance of financial models, conducting financial analysis, preparing presentations for senior management, and contributing to strategic decision-making. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain complex financial models for various business units.
• Conduct financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and sensitivity analysis.
• Prepare financial reports and presentations for senior management.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting process.
• Perform due diligence and valuation analysis.
• Collaborate with other teams to gather data and insights.
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in financial modeling.

Required Skills

• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling (e.g., DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling software
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Understanding of accounting principles and financial statements
• Data analysis and visualization skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• CFA or CA designation (preferred but not required)
• 3+ years of experience in financial analysis or a related field
• Experience working in a banking or financial services environment
• Experience with large datasets and database management
