Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough tire inspections, precise rotations, dynamic balancing, and expert repairs using specialized tools and equipment.
- Execute accurate and precise wheel alignments on a diverse range of vehicle makes and models.
- Safely mount and dismount tires, ensuring proper bead seating, inflation, and adherence to manufacturer specifications.
- Accurately diagnose tire wear patterns, identify underlying suspension issues, and troubleshoot steering problems.
- Clearly and effectively recommend appropriate tire replacements, necessary repairs, or alignment adjustments to customers.
- Operate and meticulously maintain all tire service and alignment equipment in strict compliance with safety guidelines and operational procedures.
- Maintain a consistently clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service, transparently explaining diagnostic findings and recommended services in an understandable manner.
- Collaborate with and assist other automotive technicians with general vehicle maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
- Stay informed and continuously update knowledge on new tire technologies, emerging vehicle models, and advanced service techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of proven experience as a Tire Repairer or Automotive Technician with a specialization in tires and wheel alignment.
- Demonstrated proficiency in operating tire changing machines, wheel balancers, and advanced alignment equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude coupled with excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Basic computer literacy for accessing diagnostic software, service manuals, and maintaining accurate digital records.
- Possession of a valid professional driver's license (restriction code 2 or 3).
