Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload household and office furniture, boxes, and other items onto and off moving trucks.
- Carefully pack and unpack customer belongings, utilizing appropriate packing materials and techniques to prevent damage.
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture, ensuring all components are accounted for and properly reassembled at the destination.
- Handle delicate and valuable items with extreme care, following established protocols for specialized handling.
- Provide exceptional customer service, maintaining a positive and professional demeanor throughout the moving process.
- Assist drivers with navigating routes and safely parking vehicles at origin and destination locations.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself, colleagues, and clients.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers, relaying information and addressing concerns proactively.
- Properly use and maintain moving equipment, including dollies, straps, pads, and hand tools.
- Complete necessary paperwork accurately, including inventories and delivery receipts.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 75 lbs) repeatedly and for extended periods.
- Excellent physical stamina and endurance.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Customer service-oriented mindset with a polite and helpful attitude.
- Attention to detail to ensure proper packing and handling of items.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in moving, warehousing, delivery, or a related physically demanding role.
- Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Experience with furniture disassembly and reassembly.
- Familiarity with various packing techniques and materials.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
