Job Description
We are seeking a highly responsible and experienced Driver to provide safe and efficient transportation services. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, clients, and materials as required. This role demands a commitment to safety, punctuality, and excellent customer service. You will be responsible for maintaining the vehicle’s cleanliness and ensuring regular maintenance checks are conducted. Experience with both private and commercial driving is highly desirable. The ability to navigate Ibadan’s roads efficiently and knowledge of safe driving practices is crucial. Key Responsibilities
- Transporting staff, clients, and materials safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring regular maintenance checks.
- Adhering strictly to traffic laws and regulations.
- Preparing pre-trip and post-trip reports as required.
- Ensuring the vehicle is always in good working condition.
- Assisting with loading and unloading of materials as necessary.
- Navigating efficiently and effectively throughout Ibadan.
- Maintaining accurate trip logs and records.
- Providing excellent customer service to all passengers.
- Performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Skills
- Valid Nigerian driver's license (Class B or higher)
- Proven experience as a driver (private or commercial)
- Thorough knowledge of Ibadan roads and routes
- Defensive driving skills and a strong safety record
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines
