Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller to join our growing team in Lokoja. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing transactions accurately and efficiently, and maintaining the security and integrity of bank funds. This role requires a strong understanding of banking operations, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing a positive banking experience for all customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, be adept at handling cash, and be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. This position involves direct interaction with customers, requiring a friendly and helpful demeanor, as well as the ability to resolve customer issues efficiently and professionally. Daily tasks will include cash handling, balancing tills, processing withdrawals and deposits, assisting customers with inquiries, verifying identification, and adhering to all bank policies and procedures. The ideal candidate should be proficient in basic computer skills and comfortable using banking software and systems. The position offers an excellent opportunity for growth and development within a dynamic and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing exceptional customer service to bank clients.
- Processing various banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Balancing cash drawers and reconciling transactions at the end of each shift.
- Maintaining a safe and secure banking environment by adhering to all bank security protocols.
- Assisting customers with inquiries and resolving customer issues professionally and efficiently.
- Verifying customer identification and ensuring compliance with KYC regulations.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating customer information as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned by supervisors.
