We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Mason’s Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of construction techniques, be able to work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality. Responsibilities include assisting masons in various tasks, preparing materials, mixing cement, operating hand tools, and maintaining a clean and organized worksite. This role demands physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a larger team. Successful candidates will be involved in projects ranging from residential to commercial construction, contributing significantly to the timely and efficient completion of projects across the state. Key Responsibilities
- Assisting masons in all aspects of masonry work
- Preparing and mixing mortar and other building materials
- Handling and transporting construction materials
- Operating hand tools and power tools (with appropriate training)
- Cleaning and maintaining the worksite
- Following safety regulations and using appropriate protective equipment
- Working collaboratively with other construction workers
