Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Procurement and Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in optimizing our procurement processes, ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our supply chain. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and mitigate risks throughout the procurement and supply chain lifecycle. You will also be involved in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and performance monitoring. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost and efficiency.
- Manage the entire procurement process from sourcing to payment.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and ensure favorable terms.
- Monitor supplier performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Analyze supply chain data to identify trends and risks.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and policies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of supply chain improvement initiatives.
- Prepare regular reports on procurement activities and performance.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM).
- Experience working in the energy sector is a plus.
