Job Description

As a UI Frontend Developer at Benue Links Communications, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining the user interface of our applications. You will collaborate with a team of talented engineers and designers to create intuitive and visually appealing user experiences. You will be responsible for translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code, ensuring responsiveness across multiple devices and browsers. A strong understanding of user experience principles and accessibility best practices is vital, alongside a passion for creating clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Key Responsibilities

• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Ensure responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
• Optimize application performance and conduct thorough testing.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to ensure consistent user experience.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in frontend development.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Required Skills

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (React, Angular, Vue.js)
• Understanding of responsive design principles
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in frontend development
• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Cypress)
• Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Vuex)
• Familiarity with accessibility best practices (WCAG)
