About Company

Plan International is an independent development and humanitarian organisation that advances children’s rights and equality for girls. We believe in the power and potential of every child. But this is often suppressed by poverty, violence, discrimination, and lack of access to quality education and healthcare. Working together with children, young people, our supporters, and partners, we strive for a just world, tackling the root causes of the challenges facing girls and vulnerable children. We have been building powerful partnerships for children for over 80 years and are now active in more than 75 countries, including Nigeria. In Nigeria, Plan International focuses on issues such as child protection, education, youth economic empowerment, health, and humanitarian response, particularly in the North-East region where we work tirelessly to support communities affected by conflict and deprivation. Our operations in Yobe State, including Damaturu, are critical to reaching some of the most vulnerable populations, implementing programs that empower young people to become leaders and drive positive change in their communities. We are committed to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all, where diversity is celebrated, and everyone feels valued and respected. Join us in making a lasting impact.
