Are you a passionate advocate for youth empowerment with a proven track record in community development? The Mkhondo Local Municipality is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Youth Development Coordinator to join our Social Development Services team. This pivotal role is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible difference in the lives of young people across Piet Retief and the wider Mkhondo region. As the Youth Development Coordinator, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive programs and initiatives aimed at fostering the holistic development of our youth. Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and implement youth development programs and initiatives.
- Conduct needs assessments to identify challenges and opportunities for youth in the Mkhondo region.
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with schools, NGOs, community organizations, and government agencies.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a local language (e.g., isiZulu, SiSwati).
- Ability to work effectively with diverse groups, including youth, community leaders, and government officials.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Valid South African driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
- Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field.
- Experience working within a local government or public sector environment.
