Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced WordPress Project Manager to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of WordPress-based projects, from initial client consultation to final deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will work closely with developers, designers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhering to the highest quality standards. This is a remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere while maintaining seamless collaboration with our team. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with proven project management skills, a deep understanding of WordPress development, and excellent communication abilities. You will be instrumental in shaping our clients’ digital presence and contributing to our continued success.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple WordPress projects simultaneously, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and clients, to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Track project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of project status and addressing their concerns.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely reports to stakeholders.
- Ensure all projects adhere to established quality standards and best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the latest trends and technologies in WordPress development.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in project management, specifically within a WordPress environment.
- Deep understanding of the WordPress platform, including themes, plugins, and custom development.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and client management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience with project management software (e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello).
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience with web analytics and SEO.
- Experience working in a remote environment.
- Familiarity with various web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) other than WordPress.
- PMP certification or equivalent.
