Diversified Machine, Inc. is actively seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Welding Technician to join our dynamic team in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. Your day-to-day activities will involve meticulously interpreting complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and detailed work orders to accurately determine the appropriate welding procedures, selection of materials, and necessary equipment. Key Responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, and Stick welding on various metals including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders to determine welding requirements and procedures.
- Prepare materials by cutting, grinding, cleaning, and fitting components accurately prior to welding.
- Inspect finished welds for quality, integrity, proper penetration, and adherence to specifications using various inspection methods.
- Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, company policies, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering, production, and quality control teams to resolve fabrication issues and improve processes.
