Your daily tasks will involve a variety of preparatory and supportive functions crucial to the welding process. You will also be responsible for assisting in the accurate setup and positioning of welding jigs, fixtures, and workpieces, ensuring optimal conditions for our welders. Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled welders in preparing materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, and deburring metal components.
- Clean and organize welding areas, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace free from hazards.
- Set up and position welding jigs, fixtures, and workpieces as directed by the welder.
- Transport materials and finished products within the workshop using appropriate handling equipment.
- Maintain and clean welding equipment, tools, and machinery, reporting any malfunctions or necessary repairs.
- Perform basic grinding, sanding, and finishing tasks on welded components.
- Handle and store welding electrodes, gases, and other consumables properly.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Monitor welding operations for quality assurance and report any deviations or concerns to the welder.
- Provide general support to the fabrication team as needed to meet production targets.
- Learn and apply fundamental welding techniques under supervision to contribute to simpler tasks.

- Basic understanding of welding processes and metal fabrication principles.
