Key Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostic assessments on watches to identify faults and determine necessary repairs.
- Conduct complete and partial overhauls of mechanical and quartz movements, including disassembling, cleaning, lubricating, and reassembling components with utmost precision.
- Replace worn or damaged parts such as mainsprings, gears, jewels, balance staffs, and crystals.
- Regulate and adjust movements for optimal timekeeping accuracy according to brand specifications.
- Perform waterproofing and pressure testing on water-resistant watches to ensure functionality and integrity.
- Polish and refinish cases and bracelets to restore their original luster and aesthetic appeal.
- Provide expert advice to customers regarding repair options, estimated costs, maintenance, and proper care of their timepieces.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all repairs performed, parts used, and service times for tracking and billing.
- Adhere strictly to the highest standards of quality control and craftsmanship in all repair operations.
