Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and energetic Warehouse Team Member with a focus on packing support to join our dynamic team in Ngoma, Eastern Province. In this essential full-time role, you will be a cornerstone of our daily operations, ensuring that Inyange products are meticulously packed, labeled, and prepared for dispatch to our valued customers. Your work directly contributes to our commitment to efficiency, product integrity, and timely delivery.
As a Warehouse Team Member, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that maintain the smooth flow of goods through our facility. This includes receiving incoming shipments, verifying contents, organizing inventory, and most critically, expertly handling the packing process. You will ensure that products are packed according to company standards and customer specifications, paying close attention to detail to prevent damage and maintain quality. This role requires strong physical stamina, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Key Responsibilities
- Execute precise packing and labeling of products in accordance with company standards and client specifications.
- Assist in the receiving, unpacking, and inspection of incoming goods, verifying quantities and quality against documentation.
- Organize and maintain the warehouse inventory, ensuring accurate placement and easy retrieval of products.
- Prepare orders for shipment, including palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and loading, following all safety protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment by adhering to hygiene and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with other warehouse staff and departments to ensure seamless operational flow.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to the warehouse supervisor promptly.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock audits as required.
Required Skills
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy packages (up to 25 kg) frequently.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for documentation.
- Commitment to adhering to safety and quality standards.
