Job Description

Bralirwa Plc, a leading beverage company in Rwanda, is seeking a dedicated and energetic Warehouse Team Member with a focus on Packing Support to join our operations in Karongi, Western Province. This is a full-time, on-site role crucial to our distribution network, ensuring our high-quality products reach our customers efficiently and safely. We are looking for individuals who embody reliability, precision, and a proactive approach to their work.

As a Warehouse Team Member specializing in Packing Support, you will be an integral part of our logistics team, responsible for the meticulous and swift preparation of outgoing product shipments. Your day-to-day will involve handling a diverse range of beverages, ensuring they are accurately counted, securely packed, correctly labeled, and prepared for dispatch. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to maintaining product integrity, and the physical ability to handle goods safely and effectively within a dynamic warehouse environment. You will play a crucial role in the final stage of our product journey, ensuring that every order is fulfilled with precision and care, ready for timely delivery to our valued customers and distribution partners across the region. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting, is eager to learn, and is dedicated to achieving high standards of operational efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare products for shipment according to established procedures and quality standards.
  • Verify outgoing shipments against orders to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Operate manual and electric pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment, as required and certified.
  • Perform quality checks on products before packing to identify and report any damages or discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper labeling and documentation for all packed items.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the packing area and throughout the warehouse.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as needed.
  • Collaborate effectively with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and dispatch personnel.
  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and understand basic instructions in English or Kinyarwanda.
  • Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying packages (up to 25kg) throughout the shift.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Reliability and punctuality.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and inventory management (optional, but a plus).
  • Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks (manual or electric).
