Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of goods and materials.
- Efficiently organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse and stockroom.
- Accurately pick and pack orders according to specifications, preparing them for dispatch.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company and regulatory safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation processes.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) safely and efficiently after receiving training.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks as required, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 25kg.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels, counting inventory, and completing paperwork.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude towards learning new tasks and processes.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a commitment to consistent attendance.
