Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified standards.
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists.
- Stock shelves and racks with new merchandise, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Assist in loading outgoing shipments and preparing them for delivery.
- Report any damaged or missing inventory items to a supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other warehouse-related duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing.
- Ability to read and understand English instructions and product labels.
- Basic numeracy skills for counting and inventory verification.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety regulations and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6-12 months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or handheld scanners.
- High School Leaving Certificate or equivalent.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards.
