Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to order specifications and company standards for immediate dispatch.
- Perform regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies, ensuring precise stock levels are maintained in the system.
- Operate and maintain warehouse equipment safely, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, if required.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and properly store items in designated locations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring products are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize workflow and resolve any operational issues.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards promptly to management.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in packing and inventory tasks.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic mathematical skills for counting and inventory reconciliation.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Understanding of basic warehouse safety procedures.
