Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to order specifications and company standards.
- Inspect products for quality, ensuring proper packaging, and report any damage or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks and help in organizing the warehouse floor for optimal efficiency.
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., manual pallet jacks) safely and efficiently, strictly following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily packing and distribution targets and maintain workflow.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts, stock rotation, and order fulfillment processes as required.
- Follow all company policies and procedures related to product handling, storage, and warehouse operations.
Required Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, standing, and walking for extended periods (up to 8 hours).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills for effective collaboration.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counting items.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6 months or more) in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution center environment.
- Experience with operating pallet jacks or other manual warehouse equipment.
- Knowledge of basic inventory procedures and stock management.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
