Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and retrieve products from warehouse locations based on picking lists and order requirements.
- Carefully pack items into appropriate containers, ensuring proper protection and efficient use of space to prevent damage during transit.
- Verify product quantities, types, and quality against order specifications before packing and sealing.
- Apply correct labels, shipping marks, and documentation to packages as per company and delivery standards.
- Operate essential warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and efficiently, following all safety protocols.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the packing section and surrounding warehouse areas.
- Conduct routine quality checks on packed goods to identify and report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily packing targets.
- Participate in inventory counting and reconciliation efforts as required.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations at all times.
- Be prepared to handle a variety of products, including perishable and fragile items, with appropriate care.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as needed to support overall operations and maintain a cohesive working environment.
