Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Seoul. This critical role is central to ensuring the smooth, efficient, and safe operation of our warehouse facilities, which are the backbone of our logistics network. The Warehouse Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing all daily activities, from inbound receiving and inventory management to order picking, packing, and outbound shipping. You will lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a productive and positive work environment while driving performance excellence.
This position requires a hands-on leader who can not only manage daily tasks but also identify opportunities for process optimization and implement improvements. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high levels of productivity, accuracy, and engagement.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and layout to enhance efficiency and flow of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping through the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and company policies to maintain a secure working environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities, arranging for maintenance as needed.
- Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., transportation, procurement, customer service) to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.
- Resolve operational issues and discrepancies promptly and effectively.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance, including KPIs related to productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (3+ years) in a warehouse supervisory or lead role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in both Korean and English.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control procedures.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
