Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Receive incoming goods, verify against purchase orders, and accurately record inventory data.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects and report discrepancies promptly.
- Organize and store materials in designated locations, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to specific instructions and deadlines.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in a safe and responsible manner (training may be provided).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering strictly to all safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and assist with stock reconciliation.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations and achieve daily targets.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a diverse team.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading instructions and counting items.
- Commitment to adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Valid forklift operator certification (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck).
- Previous experience working in an international or cross-cultural environment.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) or inventory software.
