Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Warehouse Manager to join our dynamic team in Fourways, Gauteng. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods to meet the demanding needs of our extensive retail and wholesale network. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Manage and optimize inventory control processes, ensuring accuracy and minimizing discrepancies.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of warehouse staff, fostering a productive and positive work environment.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure working environment compliant with all regulations.
- Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum efficiency.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement strategies for continuous improvement.
- Manage equipment maintenance and ensure proper functioning of all warehouse machinery.
- Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., procurement, transport, retail) to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
- Prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and operational costs.
- Drive cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining high standards of service and quality.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and relevant industry standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a Warehouse Manager or similar senior logistics role.
- Proven experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory control and supply chain principles.
- Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations in a warehouse setting.

Preferred Qualifications
