Career.supersecrets is seeking highly motivated and physically fit individuals to join our partner’s team as a Night Shift Warehouse Loader in Gisagara, Southern Province. This role involves meticulous loading and unloading of various materials, often requiring the use of manual and powered equipment (such as pallet jacks), and ensuring all items are correctly sorted, scanned, and prepared for dispatch or storage. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with various goods and materials.
- Sort, stack, and organize products accurately in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and hand trucks, safely and proficiently.
- Verify product quantities against manifests and report any discrepancies immediately.
- Scan and track inventory using handheld devices or other warehouse management systems.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including proper lifting techniques and equipment operation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment throughout the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and quality control checks as required.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 25 kg) repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling goods.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading labels and counts.
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly for night shift schedules.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in a warehouse, logistics, or similar loading/unloading role.
- Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or scanning technology.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse safety protocols.
