Key Responsibilities
- Accurately load and unload trucks, containers, and other vehicles with various materials, ensuring proper handling and placement.
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts (if certified), and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests and packing slips to ensure accuracy.
- Organize and stack inventory in designated warehouse locations, optimizing space and accessibility.
- Prepare shipments for dispatch, including wrapping, labeling, and staging according to company standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Report any damaged goods, equipment malfunctions, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and strength to lift and move heavy items repeatedly (up to 25 kg).
- Ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety procedures.
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents.
Preferred Qualifications
