Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload various goods from trucks, containers, and other vehicles onto pallets or warehouse shelves.
- Safely operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (training provided if needed).
- Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests or invoices for accuracy and report discrepancies.
- Organize and stack products in designated warehouse locations according to company procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ensure proper handling of fragile or heavy items to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the warehouse supervisor.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 25kg) repeatedly throughout a shift.
- Physical stamina and endurance for night shift work.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety protocols.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Fluent in Kinyarwanda or English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, especially night shift.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
