Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently load and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
- Verify product quantities against manifests or order forms, reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Sort and stack products according to designated warehouse procedures, optimising space and accessibility.
- Operate pallet jacks, hand trucks, or other material handling equipment as required (training provided if necessary).
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock checks, contributing to accurate warehouse records.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall logistics operations.
Required Skills
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects consistently (up to 25kg).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in managing inventory and following procedures.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic, with a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Basic communication skills to understand and follow instructions.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar physically demanding role.
