Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently load and unload delivery trucks and containers, both manually and using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately sort, stack, and organize products within the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization and easy accessibility.
- Perform regular checks on incoming and outgoing goods for discrepancies or damages, reporting issues promptly.
- Operate forklifts safely and effectively (if licensed) to move heavy or bulky items around the warehouse.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Prepare goods for dispatch, including packing, strapping, and labelling.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects repeatedly (up to 25kg).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent physical stamina and hand-eye coordination.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting.
- Basic understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
