Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Inventory Supervisor to oversee and manage all aspects of our warehouse inventory. This critical role ensures the accuracy of inventory records, efficient stock management, and smooth warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team, implementing inventory control procedures, and optimizing warehouse space utilization. This position demands a strong understanding of inventory management principles, proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS), and excellent leadership abilities. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver, capable of identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies promptly and efficiently. They will also play a key role in maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment, adhering to all company policies and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient and accurate inventory management.
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback.
- Implement and maintain accurate inventory control procedures, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation.
- Analyze inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory levels, ensuring sufficient stock to meet customer demands while minimizing excess inventory.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of goods.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a warehouse management system (WMS).
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with other departments (procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth inventory flow.
