Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and accurately record all goods.
- Efficiently store products in designated warehouse locations, ensuring proper labeling and organization.
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records to maintain stock accuracy.
- Prepare and stage outbound shipments, picking and packing orders according to customer specifications.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified) safely and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to management.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment within the warehouse.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments to ensure smooth workflow and operational efficiency.
- Be available to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as per operational needs.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven ability to perform basic mathematical calculations for inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects (up to 25 kg) and stand for long periods.
- Basic computer proficiency for inventory system entry and data management.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, shift-based environment.
- Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (1+ year) in a warehouse, logistics, or stock management role.
- Certification in operating forklifts or other warehouse machinery.
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
