Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and present menus, providing clear information on items and specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, communicating special requests and dietary needs to the kitchen.
- Serve orders promptly and professionally, adhering to service standards for both dining areas and room service.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipating needs, and resolving concerns to ensure a superior dining experience.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of service stations and clear/reset tables efficiently.
- Process payments accurately, handling cash or card transactions as per company policy.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff for smooth service flow.
- Assist with special event setups and breakdowns as needed.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as waitstaff or in a similar customer service role, preferably in a hotel or upscale restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail for service and presentation.
- Knowledge of food and beverage service procedures.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights (e.g., trays, dishware).
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change.
Preferred Qualifications
- Luxury hotel or fine dining experience.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
