Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests in dining areas, or efficiently deliver orders for room service, ensuring a pleasant first impression.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations with thorough knowledge of food and beverage items, including ingredients and preparation methods.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, clearly communicating them to the kitchen staff, and verifying accuracy before service.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to established service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Anticipate guests' needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction throughout their meal.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and reset dining areas or retrieve room service equipment, maintaining cleanliness and organization.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and providing correct change.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including dining areas, service stations, and storage areas.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and sanitary dining experience for guests.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Assist with inventory, stocking, and preparing service areas as needed.
