Career.supersecrets is actively seeking passionate and dedicated Waitstaff to join the dynamic teams of our esteemed clients within the thriving hospitality sector across Ajah, Lekki. As a vital member of the front-of-house team, you will be the face of the dining experience, responsible for creating memorable moments for every guest. Your daily tasks will involve warmly greeting patrons, guiding them through diverse menu offerings with confidence and expertise, accurately taking food and beverage orders, and serving them with grace and efficiency. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of presentation and hygiene within the dining areas, ensuring tables are meticulously set, cleared, and reset between seatings. For room service, you will be tasked with preparing trays, delivering orders discreetly and punctually to guest rooms, and setting up meals according to specific guest preferences. This position demands a keen eye for detail, a proactive approach to guest needs, and the ability to work seamlessly within a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests and seat them promptly, providing menus and daily specials.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, offering recommendations and answering questions.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and gracefully, ensuring correct orders are delivered to the right guests.
- Deliver room service orders discreetly and punctually to guest rooms, setting up meals to required standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including table setup, clearing, and resetting.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/card transactions.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar personnel, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
