Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Present menus, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, ensuring all special requests and dietary restrictions are communicated to the kitchen.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
- Monitor tables to ensure guest satisfaction and respond proactively to any additional needs.
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system and handle cash transactions.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, ensuring tables, chairs, and floors are spotless.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down sections.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Uphold Mugg & Bean's standards of quality, hygiene, and customer service at all times.
