Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon their arrival, escorting them to their tables and presenting menus.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, paying close attention to any special requests or dietary restrictions.
- Efficiently communicate orders to the kitchen staff, ensuring timely and correct preparation.
- Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Monitor table needs, anticipating and responding to requests for refills, additional items, or assistance.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash or card transactions responsibly.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including setting up tables and clearing dishes.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, hosts, and other waitstaff to ensure seamless service.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Provide recommendations and answer questions regarding menu items, ingredients, and daily specials.
