Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests upon arrival.
- Present menus, explain daily specials, and offer recommendations.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to inquiries or requests.
- Ensure guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Process payments and handle cash/card transactions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
- Assist with setting up and closing down the restaurant.
Required Skills
- Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress or in a similar customer service role (at least 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation and a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Fluency in German (B2 level or higher).
