Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, seating them comfortably.
- Present menus, offer recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverage items.
- Accurately take and process food and beverage orders using our POS system.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering to Mövenpick service standards.
- Ensure guest satisfaction by checking on their needs, refilling drinks, and clearing tables.
- Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with diplomacy and efficiency.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting dining area at all times.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong command of German and English (verbal communication).
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service orientation with a proactive approach.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hospitality degree or vocational training.
- Additional language skills (e.g., French, Italian).
