Key Responsibilities
- Shadow and assist senior waiters in all aspects of service, including greeting guests, presenting menus, and taking accurate food and beverage orders.
- Learn and accurately execute proper table settings, serving techniques, and clearing procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Support the team in preparing the restaurant for service, ensuring all necessary items are stocked and ready.
- Assist in the delivery of food and beverages to tables efficiently and courteously.
- Actively participate in training sessions and demonstrations to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Adhere to all restaurant policies, health, and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with professionalism and a helpful attitude, escalating complex issues to senior staff.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
