Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests warmly upon arrival, presenting menus and explaining daily specials or promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests, utilizing a Point of Sale (POS) system, and relaying them precisely to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring adherence to presentation standards and maintaining optimal quality.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, proactively anticipating needs and responding to requests or concerns in a polite and professional manner.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations, throughout your shift.
- Clear tables efficiently, reset them for subsequent guests, and assist with general restaurant upkeep and tidiness.
- Handle cash and card payments accurately, processing transactions and issuing receipts in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other team members to ensure a seamless and efficient service flow.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe dining environment for guests and staff.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage offerings, to confidently answer guest questions and provide recommendations.
- Assist with opening and closing duties of the restaurant, which may include setting up the dining area, stocking supplies, and performing end-of-day cleaning tasks.
- Uphold the restaurant's high standards for service, professional appearance, and positive guest interaction at all times.
