Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and seat guests upon arrival, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately, using a POS system and communicating effectively with kitchen staff.
- Serve meals and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet restaurant standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, anticipating needs and promptly addressing any concerns.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash and card transactions, and manage tips.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of dining room before, during, and after service shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a restaurant setting (minimum 6 months).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a pleasant and approachable demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Team player with a positive attitude.
- Fluent in English.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with POS systems.
- Knowledge of various food and beverage items, including basic wine pairings.
