Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, present menus clearly, and provide detailed information on daily specials, ingredients, or allergens.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders, utilizing appropriate Point-of-Sale (POS) systems, and relay them efficiently to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, adhering strictly to established service standards and presentation guidelines.
- Monitor guests’ dining experience to ensure satisfaction, anticipate their needs, and respond to any additional requests with efficiency and grace.
- Clear tables efficiently, reset dining areas meticulously, and assist with general restaurant cleanliness and organization before, during, and after service hours.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and composure, escalating complex issues to management when necessary.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, strictly adhering to all cash handling and credit card procedures.
- Collaborate effectively and harmoniously with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members to ensure a seamless and enjoyable service flow.
- Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations, as well as strict restaurant policies and procedures, at all times.
- Actively participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training sessions to stay informed about menu changes, promotions, and service enhancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a reputable restaurant setting.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and professionalism.
- Good understanding of restaurant operations, including order taking, food delivery, and payment processing.
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift moderate weights comfortably.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for food and table presentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
