Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests promptly and courteously, presenting menus and daily specials.
- Provide detailed information on menu items, beverages, and daily specials, answering any questions guests may have.
- Accurately take food and drink orders using the restaurant's Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently and gracefully to guests, ensuring timely delivery.
- Regularly check on guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or requests promptly.
- Clear tables efficiently and prepare them for new guests, maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Process payments accurately, handle cash, and operate the POS system for transactions.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, service stations, and assigned sections.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bar staff, and other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and breaking down dining areas, as required.
Required Skills
- Proven customer service experience with a positive attitude.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately take orders and handle payments.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry trays for extended periods.

- Previous experience (6+ months) as a Waiter/Waitress in a casual or fine dining establishment.

- Knowledge of food and beverage safety and hygiene regulations.

- Ability to communicate in local languages such as Yoruba or Igbo is an advantage.
