Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables with professionalism.
- Present menus, articulate daily specials, and offer informed recommendations for food and beverages.
- Accurately take and input food and beverage orders into the POS system.
- Serve meals and drinks promptly and gracefully, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
- Maintain a keen awareness of guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience, proactively addressing needs or concerns.
- Clear tables efficiently, reset dining areas, and ensure your workstation remains clean and organized.
- Process guest payments accurately, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Collaborate seamlessly with kitchen staff, baristas, and other front-of-house team members to ensure smooth service operations.
- Adhere strictly to all restaurant policies, health, hygiene, and safety regulations.
- Assist with comprehensive opening and closing procedures, including setup and breakdown of dining areas.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months of proven experience in a waiter/waitress role, preferably within a full-service restaurant or hotel setting.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, fostering a friendly and professional rapport with guests and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to perform efficiently and maintain composure in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Strong organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively without compromising service quality.
