Job Description
Career.supersecrets is seeking a highly meticulous, compassionate, and solution-oriented Visa Sponsorship & Relocation Specialist to join our expanding team in the vibrant hub of Cambridge, Cambridgeshire. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in supporting our diverse international candidates through the intricate and often challenging journey of obtaining UK work visas and securing suitable accommodation. You will not merely process paperwork; you will serve as a crucial guide and advocate, becoming the primary point of contact for candidates requiring sponsorship. Your expertise will provide comprehensive, step-by-step guidance on visa application processes, essential compliance requirements, and critical pre-arrival logistics, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition to the UK. This is a unique opportunity to combine your deep understanding of immigration policies and local regulations with your profound passion for helping individuals embark on new, exciting professional chapters in the United Kingdom.
Working collaboratively and proactively with our dedicated recruitment consultants and a portfolio of esteemed client companies, you will meticulously manage all aspects of visa sponsorship documentation. This includes preparing and reviewing applications, collating necessary supporting evidence, and submitting accurate information to the relevant authorities, all while ensuring strict adherence to Home Office regulations and Career.supersecrets’ internal compliance protocols. Beyond the visa process, your responsibilities will extend to researching and identifying appropriate housing solutions tailored to individual needs and budgets, assisting with practical settling-in services such as bank account setup, national insurance numbers, and local amenities information. Ultimately, you will be responsible for ensuring a positive, welcoming, and efficient relocation experience for our placed professionals. The ideal candidate will possess an unwavering commitment to accuracy, exceptional organizational skills, and a deeply empathetic and culturally sensitive approach to candidate support. You will proactively anticipate potential challenges, offer timely and effective solutions, and continuously maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving UK immigration laws, policies, and local housing market trends within Cambridge and the surrounding areas. This role is central to Career.supersecrets’ mission of fostering global talent mobility, promoting diversity in the workforce, and delivering unparalleled service and support to both our valued candidates and client partners.

- Assist candidates with pre-arrival logistics (e.g., travel advice) and post-arrival settling-in services (e.g., bank account setup, National Insurance Number applications, local resource integration).
- Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date records of all visa and relocation cases in internal systems.
- Stay abreast of changes in UK immigration policies, legislation, and local housing market trends to provide the most current and accurate information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with local service providers, including relocation agencies, landlords, and community support networks.
