Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the end-to-end UK visa application process for international candidates, ensuring accuracy and compliance with current immigration laws.
- Act as the primary point of contact for candidates regarding visa-related queries, providing clear, concise, and timely advice.
- Coordinate and secure suitable short-term and long-term accommodation options for relocating professionals, leveraging local networks and resources.
- Provide comprehensive relocation support, including assistance with travel arrangements, local area information, registering with essential services (e.g., GP, banking), and cultural acclimatisation.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UK immigration policies, Home Office guidelines, and relevant legislation to advise candidates and internal teams effectively.
- Prepare and submit necessary documentation, applications, and appeals to the Home Office or other relevant authorities.
- Liaise effectively with internal recruitment teams, external legal advisors, landlords, and service providers.
- Maintain meticulous records of all visa applications, communication, and relocation details, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality.
- Develop and refine internal processes and resources to enhance the efficiency and candidate experience of our visa and relocation services.
- Conduct pre-arrival briefings and post-arrival check-ins to ensure a seamless transition for all international hires.
Required Skills
- Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in UK immigration, visa processing, or global mobility roles.
- Excellent understanding of UK immigration routes, especially Skilled Worker visas and their requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple complex cases simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a high degree of empathy and cultural sensitivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with CRM or applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- A proactive problem-solver with a meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, International Relations, or a related field.
- OISC Level 1 or 2 accreditation (or willingness to obtain).
- Experience in property management or sourcing accommodation for professionals.
- Familiarity with the Nottingham area and local resources.
- Additional language proficiency is a plus.
