Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the research, analysis, and preparation of urban planning documents, reports, and presentations for projects within Deira.
- Support senior planners in the development of master plans, zoning regulations, and urban design guidelines.
- Conduct site visits and gather data pertinent to land use, transportation, environmental impact, and community needs.
- Prepare maps, diagrams, and visual aids using GIS and other design software to support planning proposals.
- Contribute to community engagement efforts, including preparing materials and assisting in public meetings or workshops.
- Review development applications for compliance with local planning policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, external consultants, and government agencies on various project aspects.
- Stay updated on local and international urban planning best practices, trends, and regulatory changes in Dubai.
- Perform administrative tasks as required to support the planning team's objectives.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Geography, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of urban planning principles, land use, and development processes.
